Safeguarding Exclusions invites customers to collaborate to help continue to build the strength of the Safeguarding feature. This introduces the ability to mute false positives.
Customers can exclude domains, URLs or search terms, which will not flag as a breach after the exclusion. These are also reported back to our categorisation team to review to enhance the accuracy of the Safeguarding reports.
Report “Share” URL
Customers can now share reports with anyone in their school or organisation quickly and easily via a link, with the option of securing this link with a password.
Smoothwall Connect for Windows v3.0
Installing Connect Filter on devices, users’ browsers meant that they are forced to send web content requests to Smoothwall proxies.
Smoothwall proxies then enforce your organization’s web content filtering policy by blocking undesirable and malicious content.
The Connect Filter for Windows client has been updated to include support for the Windows 10 operating system.
Users no longer have to authenticate with the client as well as their Windows device; authentication credentials cached on the Windows device are used by the Connect Filter for Windows client.
A new option has been introduced to allow device identification to Global Proxy via a secure url.
This option allows to secure your Chromebooks in one go without requiring a client-side certificate.Please note - This product release is now available to all.
