Important Updates to Smoothwall's Privacy Policy

At Smoothwall, we’re committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and the information you share with us.

We want you to understand the choices and control you have over your information, which is why we wanted to tell you about some of the changes we’ve made to our Privacy Policy in readiness for the introduction of the new Data Protection law on 25th May 2018. Here are some highlights of what’s changing:

More control over your information - We’ve provided additional details about the information we collect about you, how we use this information and how you can control the data we hold about you.

Accessibility - Under the GDPR you have the right to request to view any information we hold about you and have the right to be forgotten.

Security -  Our policy explains how we as a company conform to terms of the GDPR and the measures we’ve put in place to ensure any personal identifiable information is kept in a secure environment.

If you would like to find out more information, we encourage you to review our full Privacy Policy. Should you have any further questions or queries, please contact [email protected].

Additionally, for Smoothwall customers, we have created a whitepaper which explains how you, as a data controller, can ensure you comply with your obligations under GDPR when using Smoothwall’s UTM/SWG solutions. Read the full whitepaper here.
