Smoothwall will attend Whitehall Media’s prestigious 7th annual Public Sector ICT conference at Hotel Russell, London on 10 November 2015. The all-day conference is set to discuss the latest policies concerning efficiency and reform within the public sector, with a particular focus devoted to how ICT is a key contributor to unlocking savings.

The conference will bring together hundreds of senior public sector decision-makers from across central and local government as well as the NHS to discuss ICT policies and technology innovations.

Through a combination of keynote presentations, interactive seminar sessions and case studies, delegates will gain valuable insights from leading experts and practitioners.

The event will be chaired by David Bicknell, Editor of Government Computing. Confirmed speakers include:

  • Tony Singleton, Director, Digital Commercial Programme
  • Government Digital Service as well as Home Office
  • Skills Funding Agency
  • NHS England
  • Department for Work and Pensions
  • Warwickshire County Council
  • Brighton & Hove City Council
  • Peterborough City Council
  • West Yorkshire Police

Ahead of the event, Waqas Hashemi, CEO of Whitehall Media Ltd said:

“PSEICT 2015 is a practitioner-focused event offering delegates the chance to hear about progress to date, consider what works and why, and discuss the future direction of public service reform.”

Rob Wilkinson, Head of Public Sector Sales at Smoothwall said:

“PSEICT is a firm favourite in our events calendar because it provides an unrivalled platform for face-to-face engagement with public sector decision-makers. As the UK’s leading provider of web security solutions to schools and councils, Smoothwall understands what it takes to secure public sector networks. Our experience of working with large councils such as Brighton & Hove City Council, Warwickshire County Council and Peterborough City Council respectively, has given us a unique insight into the challenges of public sector networks; it’s this knowledge that we want to pass onto delegates at PSEICT.”

He added:

“We are privileged to be part of such an important day, and look forward to demonstrating how Smoothwall’s range of web security solutions can help organisations achieve greater efficiency, while ensuring their network and users are kept protected.”
